Unique heavy-duty caravan⁄studio designed and custom-built in 1997 as a mobile studio⁄accommodation for professional remote-landscape painter. Built UP to a standard, not DOWN to a price. Total road-time 6 months⁄5000km, otherwise garaged. Excellent condition throughout (plus the pop-top has just been stripped, cleaned and relined, then re-insulated and sealed, with new gas struts installed).
Poptop down head clearance (185cm) above kitchenette, 50cm above bed platform. Poptop raises 60cm. Head-height of the bed platform with the Poptop up 110cm, 245cm in the kitchenette. Very spacious. Built for use up north so excellent insulation and air flow-through design. x6 80cmx40cm zipper and velcro windows, fine flymesh. The lockable safety glass entrance door has a separate fly screen door, with a reinforced foldout step.
The custom chassis and framing is built by Offroad Trailers (Vic). Aluminium and ply interior fitted by Mother’s Art (Vic). Awning, zip-in canvas walls and pop-top by Aussie Traveller (Bris).
