Here's a brand new in the box Legend AirRide suspension kit for Harley FLT, FLHT, FLHR, FLTR 1985 to 2007 and Custom fitments. Product Code is FL 1466 L1-CT. 'C' stands for Chrome, so what you see is what you get!
This box was not opened until the photos were done. It's as it was when it left the factory in Rapid Springs. The only comment I have is that there are a few drops of what appear to be assembly fluid in the bag with the pressure gauge. I've seen several of these kits and they all had it. The gauge has a tiny plug in the back to prevent leakage, so maybe Legend could find a better plug maker... Otherwise they're as they left the factory. I ordered them for a project, but have built a monoshock Dyna instead. These are retailing in the $1600-1800 range. I need them out of my workshop so I have more room to make a mess...to help you help me I've discounted them sharply. My pain is your gain!
Fitment on the installation guide states that the fitment is for FLT, FLHT, FLHR, FLTR 1985 to 2007. Also listed are FXD 1991 to 2006, and up to 2006 VROD, but it’s not clear if this kit is in fact for those fitments, as the instructions also mention FXST. Several other dealer catalogues I’ve looked at only mention the FL fitments, so do your research if you’re not fitting an FL model.
Legend catalogue no longer lists this model, and I believe it’s been replaced by the AERO line. If you check the Legend catalogue, pages 31-35
